Opencall was built using open source technologies like the Symfony PHP framework, jQuery, Bootstrap, MySQL, Redis, ZeroMQ, and Plivo.
Opencall works by interconnecting a Web server with a Plivo account, allowing users to keep track or incoming calls, get statistics about the caller, log the call, and even record it to disk.
The entire system was specifically crafted for customer support or marketing departments, helping them keep track of their calls history without having to deal with annoying and most often deprecated call center technologies.
Even if a little bit hard to setup, the entire platform is extremely easy to use, and works perfectly on classic LAMP server setups.
